러핵무기 사용 우려에 유럽 전역서 '요오드 알약 대란'

방사능을 포함하지 않은 요오드를 미리 복용하면 핵폭발 시 발생하는 방사성 요오드의 갑상샘 흡수를 막을 수 있다 하네요. 하여 유럽 시민들은 체내 방사성 요오드 축적을 예방하기 위해 요오드 알약 확보에 사활을 걸고 있습니다. 

또 그저께 핀란드 보건부에서는 각 가정에 방사능 노출에 대비해 요오드 알약을 구비해놓으라 권장했다고 합니다. 당연한 결과로 핀란드 약국에선 물량이 모두 소진되었고요.

유감스러운 상황보단 안전한 게 낫죠. 최상의 상황을 바래야겠지만 최악의 상황에 대비는 해야죠. 푸틴은 찰스 마일즈 맨슨처럼 대륙스케일로 미친 명령을 내릴만큼 사악한 인간이니까요.

Esas pastillas no evitan problemas con la radiación solo reducen el impacto. 

요오드 알약은 방사능노출을 피할 수 있는 게 아니라 다만 그 영향을 조금 줄일 뿐입니다.

Except Poland doesn't have any nuclear power plants and Zaporizhzhia is about 1000km away. I don't know how this would be considered "normal". 

폴란드를 제외하곤 원자력발전소도 없어요. 자포리원전은 1000킬로미터 떨어져있고요. 그래서 왜 이런 상황이 생기는 지 이해가 안되네요.

Even I have stable iodine pills on hand, just in case. I agree that this is a "routine" measure to take just in case things go sideways, not an indication that things have already gone sideways.

나도 수중에 혹시나 대비한 요오드 알약은 있어요. 만일에 사태에 방책을 세우는 것에는 동의하지만 방사능 누출이 되고 있다고 말을 미리 해주진 않죠.
