1990년대에는 흔하고 허용되는 것이였는데 지금은 그렇지 않은것은?

저도 추억돋으며 댓글 쭉 읽었는데 여러분이 생각하시는 것은 무엇인가요?

미국 네티즌들이 답한 것에도 있는데 저도 공중전화부스가 제일 먼저 떠올랐어요. 

항상 동전을 주머니에 가지고 다니며 집이랑 친구집에 전화하곤 했죠. 

한참 이야기하는데 끊겨버릴까 전화연결되면 속사포처럼 말을 쏟아냈답니다. 

워크맨 들고 다니던 것도 기억하고, 뚱뚱했던 초기 휴대폰도 생각나네요.

In Denmark, we had a phone service for that. You could call in, and sing or whistle the song, and a few ex-radio hosts would try and figure out what song it was.

It was a little expensive, I think two dollars or so a minute, but totally worth it. Afterwards, you could spend an hour downloading that song in. 

덴마크엔 예전에 전화해서 노래하거나 해당 노래를 허밍하면 몇몇 라디오호스트들이 그 노래가 무엇인지 

맞추어 보는 전화서비스가 있었어요. 좀 비싸긴 했어요. 1분당 약 2달러였거든요 

하지만 그럴 가치가 있었답니다. 그런 다음 그 노래를 다운받는데 한시간이 걸렸어요.

Meeting people at the time and place you said you’d meet them when you mad plans days or even weeks ago.

You used to say “hey, let’s hang out on Tuesday at 7pm at downtown bar” and then without ever having to text or call again you’d both meet there.

사람들과 선약한 시간과 장소에서 그대로 만나는 것. 

이렇게 말하곤 했죠 "다운타운 바에서 화요일 저녁 7시에 만나 놀자" 그러면 정말 

다시 문자보내거나 전화해보지 않고 거기서 딱 만났죠.
