간발의 차로 생명부지한 미국경찰관

어제 미국 버지니아주 페어팩스에서 있었던 일입니다. 경찰관이 어떤 차를 검문중에 있는데 17살 청소년이 반대편에서 차를 몰고 오다가 중심을 잃고 엄청나게 빠른 속도로 이들을 덮칩니다. 경찰관은 가까스로 생명부지를 했고 크게 다친 사람은 없다고 해서 다행인데 영상보면 공포스럽네요. 버지니아 당국은 운전한 청소년 부모를 불러 부주의한 운전이 다른 사람의 생명을 앗아갈 수 있다는 걸 자식들에게 당부해달라 부탁했습니다.

So glad that the officer wasn't injured. This could've been so much worse. Can't understand why someone had to be going that fast to lose control. What's a 17 yr old doing with a brand new BMW especially if they don't know how to control it. 

경찰이 많이 다치지 않아서 다행이에요. 더 심한 상황으로 갈 수 있었을 텐데요. 왜 저렇게 컨트롤을 못하고 빨리 갔는지 모르겠어요. 제대로 운전도 할 줄 모르면서 새로운 BMW를 탄 17살 청소년은 도대체 뭘까요.

Thank God no one was seriously hurt, but I really hope the teen-age driver gets some sentencing that includes some serious education!!!!!

아무도 크게 다치지 않아 다행이지만 청소년 운전자는 진지한 운전교육을 포함해서 벌 좀 받아야 할 듯하네요.

Just saw a teenager in Minneapolis MN not yield for an ambulance the other day. The ambulance actually had to stop and honk for the kid to “slowly” understand he needed to move.

미네폴리스에서 한 청소년 운전자가 앰뷸런스한테 양보하지 않는 것도 봤어요. 앰뷸런스는 그 아이한테 좀 비켜달라고 클락션을 울려야했죠. 그 아이는 "느리게" 이해하고 비켜주더라고요.

다른 차량의 무고한 사람과 경찰관이 괜찮아서 다행이에요. 청소년이 문자 보내고 있었던 것은 아니길 바래요.

청소년들은 18세가 될때까지 운전할때 부모를 동반해야된다.

I don't think children ('cause they are children) should drive. I don' t understand parents. My daughter is 19 and we are still thinking about when she could have a car. She has a driver's license since she was 17 but she is too young. A car could be difficult to handle in some situations. I know there are very mature teenagers, but not all them are.

아이들은 운전하면 안돼요. 17세면 아이죠. 부모들이 이해안되네요. 우리딸은 이제 19살인데 아직도 딸이 언제 운전할 수 있을 지 고민중이에요. 딸은 17살때부터 운전면허증은 가지고 있지만 너무 어려요. 자동차는 특정한 상황에선 다루기 어려울 수도 있거든요. 성숙한 청소년들도 있지만 다 그런 건 아니니까요.
