(해외반응) 넷플릭스 한국 컨텐츠에 투자규모 2배이상 늘려

24일 윤대통령은 미국 방문 첫 일정으로 만난 넷플릭스 대표 테드 서랜도스가 향후 4년간 한국콘텐츠에 약 3조 3375억원을 투자하겠다고 밝혔습니다. 이는 2016년 이후 지금까지 한국컨텐츠에 투자한 규모의 두배에 달하는 금액이라고 설명했습니다.

I have been watching Korean dramas and movies for 10 years. Even before the squid game, Korean content has been popular for a long time. Korean content did not become popular overnight. This point should not be overlooked.

난 10년간 한국 드라마와 영화를 보고있는데 오징어 게임 전에도 한국 컨텐츠는 오랫동안 인기많아어요. 한국컨텐츠들은 갑자기 인기많아진게 아니에요. 이건 간과해선 안됍니다.

I like that recently Netflix has been releasing their shows with English Dubs. I've been watching Kdrama for like a decade now, back when everything was fan subs. And this genre has gotten so popular, that even my mother has gotten addicted to them, thanks to Netflix.

요즘 넷플릭스가 영어더빙해서 보여주는 거 마음에 들어요. 한국드라마 시청한 지 이제 10년정도 되었는데요 예전엔 다 자막이였어요. 이제 한국드라마가 인기가 많아지니 심지어 우리 어머니도 중독되었어요. 넷플릭스 덕분이죠.

My mom and I only watch Korean, Chinese and Japanese dramas lately, they are really good, no quotas, no agendas, just pure bliss.

우리엄마랑 난 최근에 한국, 중국, 일본 드라마들만 봐요. 진짜 재밌거든요. 할당량 같은 것도없고 재밌기만 해요.

I love the K-Dramas and other genre's from S.Korea as well. Apart from a couple of shows, majority of their shows are a single season, around 16-20 episodes. Beginning, Middle, Climax --- END! Unlike western shows... they don't try to milk it, and so the quality doesn't degrade season after season.

한국드라마랑 한국의 여러 장르를 다 좋아해요. 몇개 컨텐츠 외에도 대부분의 드라마들이 싱글시즌이고 16~20화면 끝나요. 초반, 중반, 클라이막스, 그리고 결말이죠. 서구드라마랑은 달라요. 어떻게든 짜내려고 하지 않아서 퀄러티가 갈수록 떨어지는 일이 없어요.

Extraordinary attorney Woo is very enjoyable and other K dramas are good too. Some Japanese shows are worth checking out too.

이상한 변호사 우영우 진짜 재밌었고 다른 한국드라마들도 재밌어요. 몇몇 일본 컨텐츠들도 볼만하고요.

Kdrama is actually really good. I love watching their shows and movies. Even my husband got into the shows. Plus they don’t always give positive ending. Like it is open to anything happening. I really enjoy the no guarantee happy ending.

한국드라마 정말 재밌어요. 한국드라마와 영화 보는 거 너무 좋아합니다. 우리남편도 한국컨텐츠에 빠졌어요. 한국드라마는 늘 해피엔딩으로 끝나지 않아요. 오픈엔딩은 어떤 일이든지 상상할 수 있죠. 해피엔딩으로만 끝나는걸 좋아하지 않거든요.

참고로 더 좋은 번역가와 성우가 있으면 괜찮을 것 같네요.

I have been loving kdramas since 2015! So I am super excited! ALTHOUGH their subtitles are awful! I hope they are fixed that soon lol

2015년부터 한국드라마 즐겨봐왔는데요 너무 재밌어요. 비록 자막은 완전 별로지만요. 곧 그점을 좀 개선했으면 좋겠네요.
