현재 레딧에서 난리인 한국 사진

Well this is all kinds of fucked up thing to see at an amusement park...

아시안들 특히 한국인들은 백인들 인종차별 욕하면서 정작 제일 차별심하게 한다는 의견이 많네요... 

진짜 한국인가 싶었지만 사진배경에 '동승자~~'한국어가 씌여있네요. 

한국내에서도 사회적인 구조가 문제가 많은 것 같아요, 한국내의 동남아시아 인도, 조선족 등 사람들에 대한 인종차별도 크게 개선되지도 않고 있고요. 차후 코스프레라는 의견도 있던 데 좀 더 조심해야 했었나 싶은데요. 

또 반대로 미국인들은 일본 전범기에 대한 인식 수준이 어떨 지 궁금해지기도합니다. 옷 디자인에도 종종 등장하는데. 미국도 아닌 한국에서 벌어진 일에 이런 식으로 반응하면서 반대로 미국에서 심심찮게 등장하는 전범기에 대해선 제대로된 인식이 있나 모르겠습니다. 참 많은 논란을 불러일으키는 사진과 댓글반응입니다.

I had a friend that lived in South Korea for some time and he told me he actually stopped learning the language up to a point because of the things people would openly say in reference to him on public transport. One woman was joking with her child calling him a smelly white man etc, its brutal over there lmao.

한국에 어느정도 살아본 친구가 있는데 더 이상 한국말 배우길 포기했대요. 왜냐면 사람들이 대중교통에서 뭐라고 대놓고 한거에요. 어떤 여자는 친구의 아이를 보고 냄새하는 백인이라도 놀렸대요. 한국은 잔인해요.

Koreans don't want to be white people, they want to be light-skinned Koreans. And the features they desire are part of a beauty standard, but those features are clearly east-asian. There's a big difference.

한국인들은 백인이 되고싶어하지 않아요. 그저 밝은 피부의 한국인이고 싶어하죠. 그리고 한국인들이 원하는 그런 특징은 아름다움의 기준이되지만 명백히 동아시아인들의 기준이죠. 큰 차이가 있어요.

When I learned about bullying in South Korea it lessened my desire to spend a part of my life living there. The bullying cases are very horrible and I don’t think those child bullies are pulling this behavior out of thin air. I think they are learning this from their parents. 

한국에서 일어나고 있는 왕따에 대해 알게 되었을때 한국에서 살고 보고싶은 마음이 줄어들었어요. 한국의 왕따 사건들은 정말 끔찍하고 어린이 왕따 사건들이 이런 인종차별들도 밖으로 들어나나 싶어요. 아이들도 부모들한테 배우는 거죠.

South Korea really isn’t that democratic either. It gets touted as a shining democracy for because of the contrast with authoritarian North Korea. But from a western perspective South Korea is actually quite authoritarian with their policies and political mindsets

한국은 딱히 민주주의 국가도 아니에요. 완전 반대인 북한때문에 빛나는 민주주의 국가처럼 보이는 거죠. 하지만 서양관점에선 한국은 정치와 사고방식이 사실 독재방식이에요.

People assume that only primarily white countries are racist..

I lived in Asia for over a year, little to no desire to go back. Almost every single place I visited all over the Asian/Indian continent, so much casual racism. I'm white but traveled with lots of expats from all over the world

사람들은 오직 백인국가들이 인종차별주의자라고 생각하죠. 아시아에서 1년 넘게 살았는데 다시 돌아가고 싶은 생각이 눈꼽만큼도 없어요. 아시아와 인도에서 방문했던 모든 곳은 인종차별이 있었어요. 난 백인이고 전세계 거의 모든 곳을 여행해봤는데 그렇게 느꼈어요.

Asians mostly don’t have beef against Nazis. However they do hate the Imperial Japanese Army flag. Don’t wear those there you might be murdered in broad sunlight

대부분의 아시아 사람들은 나치에 대한 불만이 없어요. 하지만 아시아인들은 일본의 전범기는 증오하죠. 혹 아시아 가게 되면 절대 전범기 그려진 걸 입지 마세요. 입으면 대낮에 살해당할 수도 있어요.

Which makes the fact wearing a Nazi uniform is socially acceptable really bizzare when they were a part of the same alliance and enabled each other. 

어떻게 나치 유니폼을 입는 것이 사회적으로 용인되는지 모르겠네요. 일본이랑 연대했는데 무슨 차이가 있나요. 기괴하네요.

Nazi-chic is a thing in some Asian countries and it's not frowned upon. Its weird, but who are we to tell another country how they should dress.

몇몇 아시아 국가들에선 나치스타일이 멋진 것 처럼 여겨지기도 하고 인상찌푸리는 일이 아니기도합니다. 이상하지만 다른 나라에서 어떻게 옷을 입던지간에 뭐라고 말을 하겠어요.
