플로리다 아쿠아리움은 반세기 이상 잡아놓고 있던 돌고래 롤리타를 풀어주기로 했다 합니다.
이 돌고래의 삶은 너무나 비참했던 것이 50년 이상 갇혀 살며 인간들을 위해 쇼를 하고 먹이를 얻어먹는 삶을 살아온 것입니다. 그것도 이제 그런 공연들을 할 만큼의 젊음을 다 잃으니 겨우 바다로 돌아갈 수 있게 되었네요.

저 돌고래는 하도 오랫동안 음식을 받아먹고 스스로 찾아본 적이 없어서 혼자 생존하기가 굉장히 어려워질 것 같아요.

I applaud the gesture, but I also want to hear that the Orca's best interests are met. After 50 years how likely are they to thrive alone in the wild - which is actually the tragedy of the situation. What a tragic situation.

롤리타 돌고래는 어렸고 한번도 스스로 음식을 사냥하는 방법을 배운 적이 없어요. 그런 건 부모 고래로부터 배우는 거죠.
