(캐나다) 이민자들로 1년새 인구 105만명 급증한 캐나다 

우리나라에서도 이민 가고자 하는 국가로 항상 상위에 있는 나라이죠, 캐나다입니다. 

캐나다가 이민에 힘입어 1년만에 인구가 100만명 늘었다고 합니다. 또 앞으로도 이민자를 적극적으로 받아들일 계획이라고 하네요. 

22일 캐나다 연방통계청에 따르면 올해 1월 1일 기준으로 캐나다 인구는 지난해보다 105만명 증가한 3957만명으로 집계됐습니다. 이는 1년새 2.7%의 인구 증가율을 나타냅니다.

Both coutries had similar population about 38 mln citizens before 2022, however Canada is way bigger than Poland.

폴란드 인구는 전쟁때문에 작년에만 2백만명이 늘었어요. 2022년 전에는 폴란드나 캐나다나 인구가 약 3천8백만명정도 있었지만 캐나다는 폴란드보다 훨씬 더 큰나라죠.

The latest numbers from the OECD show Canada with just one hospital bed for every 400 citizens, a ratio that put us in the bottom tier of OECD countries. In France, there’s a hospital bed for every 172 citizens, and in Japan (the first place contender) there’s a bed for every 78 people.

그런데 캐나다는 전체 병원 침대수도 모자란 편이에요. OECD최신 데이터를 보면 캐나다는 시민 400명당 병상 1개만 보유하고 있고 이는 OECD 국가 중 하위권에 속해요. 참고로 프랑스는 시민 172명당 1개의 병상을 보유하고 있고 일본(1위)은 78명당 1개의 병상을 보유하고 있어요.

To all new comers, please keep in mind Canada is not US. It has very few cities, very limited housing and a small economy. All people are getting stuck in Toronto and Vancouver which is making rents and mortgage skyrocket. It is almost impossible to get a family doctor, and if you get one in 1st year of landing in Canada, consider yourself lucky.

캐나다로 이민오는 사람들에게 알려줄 말이 있어요. 캐나다는 미국이 아니란 걸 기억해요. 캐나다엔 대도시가 별로 없고 주택수도 모자라며 경제규모도 작아요. 모든 사람들이 토론토와 밴쿠버에 몰려있어 주거비용이 아주 비싸죠. 일반가정의사를 만나는 것도 정말 힘든 일이에요. 캐나다 온 지 1년도 안돼서 가정의학과 의사를 만나게 된다면 정말 운이 좋은거에요.

Absolute insanity. Living is unaffordable. Can't buy a home, can't buy a vehicle. Food prices insane. Not to mention the cultural tension that is getting worse day by day.

정말 미친환경이에요. 너무 돈이 많이 들어요. 집도 차도 살 수가 없어요. 식료품비는 미쳤고요. 문화적 긴장은 날이 갈수록 악화되고 있어요.

"The birth rate being to low" Yeah... because I can't afford to bring a child into this world with this insane economy. Having a child is an incredibly selfish thing, especially if you can't afford to provide a decent home to keep them safe in.

"출산율이 낮아지고 있다" 네 맞아요. 왜냐하면 우리나라 캐나다에선 아이를 키우려면 돈이 정말 많이 들거든요. 자녀를 가진다는 건 이기적인 일이 되어버렸어요. 특히 제대로 살 집이 없다면요.
