(레딧반응) 한국의 여자 '인증'해야만 문 열리는 대학 화장실 

3월 18일 세계일보에 따르면 국내대학 최초로 고려대학교에서 '여성 안심 화장실'을 실험하는 차원에서 실행중에 있습니다. 확실히 안심이 된다는 의견도 있고 왜 여자가 불편을 감수해야 하느냐는 이야기도 있습니다. 

이 시스템은 애플리케이션으로 성별을 인증받아야만 문이 열리는 화장실로 한국토지주택공사가 2020년 공공화장실에서의 불법촬영 등 성범죄 예방을 목적으로 개발했다고 합니다.

As far as I know, the public is free to wander around most campuses. I don't think it is strange to see non-students visiting the campuses of other universities. 

대부분의 대학교 캠퍼스는 외부인들이 돌아다닐 수 있어요. 그학교 학생 아니더라도 이상한 일은 아니에요.

Korean universities don't have security fencing and gates. Most can be walked into freely and often offered public classes/events.

한국의 대학교들은 울타리가 보안 게이트를 따로 만들지 않아요. 대부분 자유롭게 드나들수있어요.

This is actually not funny since they r doing that to get avoid from creeps w hidden cameras. There were an issue few yrs ago bout online site where ppl(well most likely men) sharing vid of women in public bathroom.. and even its not an bathroom there’s issue going on mens taking pic of women secretly..

사실 이건 우스운 일이 아니에요. 몰래카메라로 촬영하려는 변태들을 예방하기 위해서죠. 한국에서 실제 여자 공중화장실에서 몰카를 찍은 영상을 공유하는 싸이트가 있어다고 해요. 화장실이 아니더라도 남자들이 여자들을 몰래 촬영하는 문제들이 있어요.

한국의 고려대학교를 방문했을때 실제로 저 화장실을 본 적 있어요. 불편해보이지만 여성들이 안전하게 느낀다면 남자가 평가하는 건 아무 소용없죠.
