(해외반응) 한국인만 왜 계속 마스크를 쓸까 

현재 많은 국가정부가 이제 마스크 의무화 규정을 완화했음에도 한국을 비롯한 몇몇국가들은 한동안 계속 마스크를 쓰고 다닐 것이라고 어제 1일 미국 뉴욕타임스가 분석했습니다. 

우선 습관이 돼 바꾸기 어려울 것과 보건당국이 여전히 권장한다는 점, 마스크가 다른 사람에 대한 배려로 여겨지며 미세먼지 등 공해에 대한 마스크의 보호효과등을 근거로 들며 이렇게 전망했습니다. 

사실 한국인들은 겨울철, 황사철만 되어도 팬데믹전부터 마스크 착용을 많이 해왔던 지라 다른 나라 사람들에 비해 마스크 착용에 대한 큰 부담감은 없었습니다. 

뉴욕타임즈는 이 외에도 마스크를 착용하면 화장에 대한 부담도 덜하고 표정관리를 할 필요가 없다고 생각하는 한국인과 일본인도 많다고 강조했습니다.
