관람객들의 눈을 사로잡은 라스베가스 소비자가전쇼

몇일 전 5일, 미국 라스베거스에서 소비자가전쇼(CES 2023)가 열렸습니다. 이 전시회는 미국 소비자기술협회가 주최해 매년 미국 라스베가스에서 열리는 세계 최대 규모의 소비자 가전 박람회인데요, 전세계 47개국 2,200여개 업체가 참가해 가전, 모바일, 모빌리티, 로봇 등 IT와 가전 전 영역에 걸친 최신 제품과 미래 기술을 선보이는 전시회입니다. 우리나라의 여러기업들도 참여해 신기술을 선보였습니다.  HD현대는 바람따라 6개의 기둥이 추진을 돕는 친환경 '윙세일' 동력을 선보인 실물모형 선박을 전시해 큰 주목을 받았습니다. 

이번 CES 2023엔 한국 대학생들도 많이 참관하여 가장 인상 깊었던 제품이 무엇인지 직접 촬영하고 소개해보기도 했는데요, 예를 들어 시각장애인들에게 길안내를 해주는 신발, 하늘을 나는 자동차를 위한 3D 네비게이션 등이 꼽혔습니다.

Personally, as a septuagenarian, I would like to see more smart tech geared toward the needs of senior citizens — especially seniors with physical and cognitive impairment.

70대 사람으로서 개인적으로 고령인을 위한 스마트 기술 제품들을 더 많이 보고싶어요. 특히 신체적 인지적 장애가 있는 노인들이요.

We have actually had flame detectors in the industrial sector for many years now, but nice to see a consumer product.

제법 괜찮은 제품들이 보이네요. 산업 분야에선 수년전부터 이미 화염방지기가 있지만 소비자 제품으로 나온 걸 보니 좋네요.
