미 원주민 단체들 아바타 불매운동

전세계적으로 흥행을 거듭하고 있는 영화 아바타2에 대해 미국 원주민 단체들이 인종차별적 내용을 담고 있다며 대거 불매운동에 나선다고 합니다. 이들은 내용에 19세기 자행된 미국 원주민 학살 이야기를 담고 있고 원주민들의 사상과 문화가 많이 담겨있지만 정작 원주민은 한명도 캐스팅되지 않았다며 비난하고 있습니다. 또한 아바타2가 아메리카 대륙 원주민들에게 큰 고통을 안겨준 백인들의 관점을 미화한다고 비판하고 있습니다. 관련하여 나바호족 출신 LA의 단체 활동가 유에 버게이도 최근 트위터 계정에 글을 올려 '아바타2'는 '백인 구원자 콤플렉스'를 만족시키는 영화라고 불매운동을 촉구했습니다.

As part Native American, I personally find it neat that someone took interest in our history and culture to create interesting, strong characters for their movie.

I was obsessed with Avatar 1 and still am. I saw Avatar 2 and loved it. The story isn't complex, and there really is no major plot twist imo but it was visually stunning and just a beautiful cinematic experience. I will see it again in 3D next week.

난 여전히 아바타1에 집착해있어요. 아바타2도 봤는데 정말 재밌었어요. 스토리는 꼬지 않았고 사실 정말 시각적으로 굉장히 아름답고 놀라운 영화적인 경험이였어요. 다음주에 3D로 다시 볼거에요.

I'm Native American (Osage and Cherokee) and I liked the first movie. I appreciate anytime we are represented in movies, and will be watching the second movie when it becomes available to stream or on DVD.

백인들은 이 모든 변화와 희생을 평등으로 만들 생각이였겠지만 변화에 영향을 주려고 할때면 "구원자 컴플렉스"가 생기죠.

I watched it recently and it was very enjoyable and the plot is awesome, I like how the people are very diverse and it was very emotional too

최근에 영화감상했는데 정말 재밌었어요. 줄거리는 환상이였고요. 사람들이 다양하게 나와서 좋았고요 감동적이였어요.
