죽어서 돈 가지고 가는 것도 아니고 본인이 쓸만큼 누리다가 기부하고 가는 것도 좋은생각이네요. 여러 댓글에 니네 회사 직원 복지나 좀 챙겨라는 말도 있어 푸흡했네요. 어떻게 이 기사 나오는 타이밍이 만명을 해고하는 거랑 같이 나오니 아이러니하기도 합니다. 

원래 다른 세계적 부호들의 기부 선언에 불참해 인색하다는 비판도 받아왔던 제프 베이조스인데요, 재산 대부분을 기후변화와 인류 통합에 기여하는 사람들을 지원하는데 쓸 것이라고 말했습니다. 그의 재산은 약 1240억 달러 (약 165조원)에 달합니다.
