(미국반응) 비만 승객 사이에 앉은 승객, 항공사에 배상금 요구 

이런 경험 있으신 분 있나요?  국내항공기 말고 외항사 탔을 경우 전 이런 경험 여러번 있었는데 정말 대단히 짜증나는 일입니다;;;; 게다가 미안한 기색없이 옆자리 승객의 자리에 당당하게 침범해있는 걸 보면 참으로 불쾌합니다. 

소송결과가 어떻게 될 지 모르겠지만 조금이라도 이슈가 되어 뻔뻔마인드를 가지고 비행기 타는 비만 승객들이 조금은 생각을 달리했으면 좋겠네요.

Oh my God, I laughed so hard. I totally relate. I had a similar experience some 25 years ago. I was in the window seat and the middle row passenger arrived, lifted the arm rests on both sides and plopped into the seat. Could not lower the arm rest again for the entire flight. The passenger's fat rolls on my lap the entire flight. Uncomfortable and awkward for hours. I complained to the airline, and they didn't care. Not even a halfhearted apology. I never flew that airline again.

오마이갓 완전 웃었어요. 나도 진짜 이야기들려줄 수 있어요. 25년전 유사한 경험이 있습니다. 창가자리에 있었고 중간자리에 앉을 승객이 오더니 양쪽사이드 팔걸이를 올려버리고 자리에 뛰어들듯 앉았죠. 비행내내 팔걸이를 다시는 내릴수가 없었어요. 그 승객의 지방은 내내 내 무릎까지 흘러내려있었어요. 불편하고 어색했죠. 항공사에 컴플레인했는데 그들은 신경쓰지 않았어요. 건성으로 하는 사과도 없었고요. 난 다시 그 항공사를 이용하지 않아요.

The fat acceptance movement is always lecturing thin people to be more understanding.  How about they understand why there are complaints.  Paying for a seat means you get the whole seat, not just what is left over after someone's fat edges onto our seat.   Paying for 2 tickets if you're too big is fair in my opinion.

비만인 차별반대운동은 항상 마른 사람들이 더 이해하라고 가르쳐요. 비만인들에게 이런 종류의 컴플레인도 있다고 좀 이해시키는 건 어떨까요. 자리를 산다는 것의 의미는 해당좌석의 전체를 차지한다는 거에요. 남는 공간을 뚱뚱한 사람들에게 줘야한다는 건 아니죠. 너무 몸집이 크면 좌석을 2개사는 것이 공평한 겁니다.

I took a flight from Milwaukee to Philadelphia recently. Guy next to me had his huge arm almost on my lap! Felt like a sardine the whole flight. Extremely uncomfortable. They really need to design aircraft with more room. Couldn't wait to get off

The cost of transportation is really based on wieght, I would say if you are over 250 pounds, you would be required to purchase two adjacent seats.

If you want personal space on a flight, you should fly charter flights only. Seat sizes on domestic flights are not designed to give you personal space.

기내에서 개인공간이 필요하다면 전세기를 타던지. 국내선 좌석 크기는 개인적인 공간을 주도록 설계되어있지 않다.

There definitely is an obesity issue in this country, although we are moving in the right direction… I’ve had to sit next to people who don’t fit in the seat, and take over my personal space, and it’s annoying and uncomfortable. I’ve never once though about reparations from the airline.

It’s one of the reasons I won’t sit in window seats or middle seats.

옳은 방향으로 가고있긴 하지만 우리 나라에 분명히 비만 문제가 있어요. 자리에 잘 안맞는 비만인들 사이에 껴서 비행기 탑승한 적이 있어요. 내 공간을 넘어왔죠. 짜증나고 불편했어요. 한번이라도 항공사들로부터 보상받을 생각을 못했네요. 그래서 난 절대로 창가나 중간좌석에 앉지 앉아요.

I agree with this “Karen” 100000 percent. If you take up more than 1 seat, you should have to pay for 2.

소송건 여성에게 완전히 동의해요. 한자리 이상 차지하는 몸집이라면 2자리 값을 지불해야죠.

This woman should not have to pay extra because the fat ladies wouldn’t. That is insane. If someone should pay, it is the person taking 2 seats.

Start charging EVERYONE by the pound. If weight is over a certain threshold, 2 seat purchase required. problem solved.

무게별로 모두에게 요금을 부과하길. 어느정도 무게에서 오버되면 2개좌석사라고하면되죠. 그럼 문제해결.
