(미국반응) 지압받다가 전신 마비된 20대여성

미국 조지아주 거주하는 카이틀린 젠슨 (Caitlin Jenson)씨는 척추지압사를 정기적으로 방문한 뒤 온몸이 마비된 증세를 보였습니다. 

그녀는 카이로프랙틱(척추교정지압요법) 치료를 받던 중 목 부위의 동맥이 끊어져 전신마비 판정을 받았다고 하네요. 

최근엔 침대에서 동물테라피를 받고 조금이나마 회복을 하고 있다고 합니다. 

정말 인간은 어떤 동물이든 최대한으로 활용하고 있네요.

I saw a video on Instagram of a dog getting chiropractics. They fully sedated the dog and were just just jerking him around like a sack of meat.

인스타그램에서 어떤 영상을 봤는데 개에게 안정제를 투입하여 완전히 진정시키고 그냥 사람옆에 고기덩이 마냥 눕혀놓는다.

I really wish hospitals would utilize dogs more often. I have severe depression and type 1 diabetes. This leads me to frequent hospital visits, usually for around a week, during times when I am already at a very low point. I can honestly say if I'm lucky enough to have a dog come, it not only improves my mental health, but I really do feel physically better and am able to get out of there faster.

병원들이 더 자주 동물들을 활용하면 좋겠다. 심한 우울감과 당뇨가 있어 병원에 자주 방문한다. 보통 1주일에 한번 방문하고 매우 기분이 다운되어 있을때 개를 만나면 정말 운이 좋다. 정신건강에도 좋을뿐아니라 육체적으로 더 나은 기분이 되어 더 빨리 우울감에서 빠져나올 수 있다.

Therapy dogs genuinely save people. I can't imagine the pain (both physical and mental) that she must be experiencing; but her smile in this photo while surrounded by doggos truly shows how much of an impact they can have.

테라피개들은 진심으로 사람을 살린다. 그녀가 경험하고 있는 육체적 심적인 그 고통을 가늠할 수 없지만 사진에서 개들에게 둘러싸여 웃고 있는 모습은 동물들이 얼마나 많이 사람에게 영향을 끼칠 수 있는 지 보여준다.

Here in India it’s common for barbers to give you neck adjustments after a haircut. Though it feels heavenly, I’m gonna refuse one the next time I’m going for a haircut

인도에선 머리커트한 다음에 목 조정지압을 해주는 것이 흔하다. 되게 시원한데 다음번엔 꼭 거절해야겠다.

He didnt do it on purpose. That being said, I would never allow anyone to use a y-strap OR twist my head to manipulate my spine....

지압사가 일부러 그러진 않았겠지만 난 절대 그 누구에게도 내 척추조정을 위해 머리를 꺾고 끈을 이용하는 건 못하게 해야겠다.
