플로리다 법원, 임신한 16세 학생 `성숙하지 않다’ 이유로 낙태 금지 판결

미국은 넓은 나라인 만큼 주마다 법이 다르다죠. 부모도 업고 집도 없는 16세 학생이 임신 10주에 낙태 허락을 받으러 법정에 갔다고 합니다. 법정은 이 학생이 도와줄 부모도 없고 직장도 없고 돈도 없어 '성숙하지 않다'는 이유로 낙태불허했다고 합니다.

Let's not forget America is also the place where a 14 year old can marry someone who is 40 as long one parent or guardian signs consent. So logic doesn't exist in the legal system.

미국에선 부모중 한쪽이라던가 후견인이 동의서에 서명만해주면 14살 미성년자가 마흔살인 사람이랑도 결혼할 수 있는 곳이란 걸 잊지말자. 그러니 이 나라 법 시스템에선 논리가 존재하지 않는다.

Well if she's mature enough to get in bed with someone and want an abortion as cause and effect, then I perfectly see no reason why other 16yr olds shouldn't have guns either

누군가와 잠자리를 하고 그 결과로 낙태를 원할 만큼 성숙하다면 그렇다면 왜 16세 아이가 총기 소유하면 안되는 지 이유를 모르겠네요.
