그린란드에서 빙하가 녹으니 보물헌팅에 나선 때부자들.. 

지구온난화로 인해 빙하가 녹는 것을 기뻐하는 이들이네요. 

추정되는 희토류 매장량만 6억톤이라고 하는데요 이 희토류의 가치는 대략 1경 3천조원이 될 것으로 추측하네요.  경 단위를 처음 들어봅니다;;;희토류는 전기차 제조에 필요한 자원이라고 합니다. 

주로 나선 이들은 Jeff Bezos(아마존창업자), Michael Bloomberg(블룸버그 통신대표), Bill gates(마이크로소프트 창업자) 입니다. 

과연 앞으로 계속 살아갈 이 지구에 잘하는 일일까요

I like the idea of mining for necessary materials to get to clean energy quicker, but the problem with that is that:

1. Mining those resources will definitely result in more emissions of greenhouse gases from the machines digging the materials up as well as potentially the rocks themselves seeing as how there could be greenhouse gases like Methane that are trapped in air pockets in the rocks themselves.

2. This is being overseen by billionaires, who contribute a lot to greenhouse gas emissions in the first place. Why can't there be a universal or national social project to accomplish this task instead of letting greedy businessmen do what interests them?

어서 빨리 깨끗한 에너지를 얻이 위해 필요한 자원을 캔다는 아이디어는 좋네요. 하지만 여러가지 문제도 있어요. 

1. 저 자원들을 캔다면 굴착기 등 기계사용으로 분명 더 많은 온실가스 배출이 될 것입니다. 또한 바위돌 자체에도 에어포켓이 생겨 그 안에 갇히게 되는 메탄같은 온실가스도 있을 수 있어요. 

2. 이런 것이 억만장자에게 간과되고 있는 점이네요. 그들은 진작부터 많은 온실가스 배출에 기여해온 인물들이죠.욕심많은 비즈니스맨들이 저런 자원에 관심가지게 놔두지 말고 이런 임무를 국가차원 사회적인 프로젝트로 진행할 수 없을까요?

So the huge machines that are used for mining can add to the greenhouse gases besides tearing up the land to get the minerals they want!

So fun to watch the commentators last remark “allowing the US to diversify its mineral sousing” Since when does the US have the mining rights for minerals in Greenland without asking Denmark? To my knowledge, is Greenland still a part of the Danish kingdom. I hope the necessary permits are in place….

도대체 언제부터 미국이 덴마크에 묻지도 않고 그린랜드 광물을 캐낼 권리를 가지고 있었는지?

내가 알기론 그린랜드는 여전히 덴마크 왕국의 일부이다.
