러시아 대사 “북한 노동자, 돈바스 재건 위해 파견할 수 있어”

러시아군이 점령한 우크라이나 동부 돈바스 지역의 재건을 위해 북한 노동자들이 파견될 수 있다고 평양 주재 러시아 대사가 말했다. 이에 대해 유엔 제재 위반이라는 지적이 나온다.

알렉산드르 마체고라 주 북한 대사는 북한 노동자들이 분리독립을 선언한 도네츠크와 루한스크의 인프라 건설에 참여할 수 있을 것이라고 말했다고 러시아 언론 <이즈베스티야>가 18일(현지 시각) 보도했다.

Am thinking the poorly equipped North Korean “volunteers” would fight hard against South Korean forces but have no vested interest in fighting the Ukrainian forces.

Most likely if a 100,000 North Korean army goes to Ukraine they will be a rear guard army. Infrastructure security (railways/Roads) reinforcing checkpoints, base building. It would be very unwise to have a green NK army on the front. Neither Russia or North Korean have trained there military forces with each other. Best to let the Russian army go to the front and have the NK army providing support and logistics.

아마도 10만명의 북한 의용군들은 우크라이나로 가서 후방지원군이 될 것이다. 인프라 (기차와 도로) 재건하고 검문소 강화하고 기초건물을 짓겠지. 전방에 북한군인들을 두는 건 현명하지 않은 짓이다. 러시아나 북한이나 군인들이 훈련이 잘 안되어 있다. 러시아 군이 전방으로 가고 북한군인들은 공급품 관리하고 물류 지원하는 것이 최선일 것이다.
