Depends which countries. I’ve always found it weird that a lot of them think hugging is more intimate than kissing someone on the cheek.
유럽 어느 나라이냐에 따라 다르겠지만 많은 유럽인들이 누군가의 볼에 키스하는 것보다 안는 것이 더 친밀하다고 생각하는 게 이상하게 보였어요.

I think Germans in general are very determined to not annoy or disturb their coworkers. My German cousin who loves garlic won’t eat it any day other than Friday or Saturday because her coworkers would be offended by garlic breath if they were in a meeting.
일반적으로 독일인들은 동료들에 신경쓰이는 일을 하지 않으려고 아주 확고한 사람들 같았어요. 내 독일인 사촌은 마늘을 너무 좋아하는데 회의할때 입에서 마늘냄새 날까봐 금요일과 토요일만 마늘을 먹어요.

I lived in Germany 3 years, I loved everything about it, except one thing; personal space doesn't exist in lines. I'd be standing in line at a store and the next person behind me is breathing down my neck.
독일에서 3년은 살았는데 모든 게 좋았는데 단 한가지 줄설때 너무 붙어서있었어요. 어떤 가게에서 줄 서 있었는데 내 뒤의 사람이 내 바로 붙어있어서 목뒤에서 숨을 쉬고 있었다니까요.

Come to Sweden, you can use us Swedes as 2m measures (or 1m in crowded areas) because as long as you're not in rush hour Stockholm, people have a very strong sense of personal space
(윗댓글에) 스웨덴으로 와봐요. 여기선 적어도 사람들끼리 2미터는 떨어져 서 있어요. 수도 스톨홀름 처럼 너무 바쁜 곳이 아니라면 사람들은 사회적거리두기를 굉장히 잘 지키는 편입니다.

Leaving babies napping outside, alone, in cold weather.
I was in Denmark in November and it was a super windy, cold week (ranged from -6 degrees *to -9 degrees Celsius) and this honestly stunned me. I admire that people feel so safe that they can do it!
추운날씨에도 낮잠든 아기를 밖에 혼자 두는거요. 11월에 덴마크 간 적 있는데 바람도 많이 불고 추웠거든요(거의 영하 6도에서 영하9도였어요). 진짜 놀랐어요. 그렇게 해도 안심할 수 있다는 것이 존경스럽네요.

I'm from the UK and my grandmother was telling me that it used to be super common for people to leave their babies in prams outside. Doing the housework and baby needs fresh air? Put them outside in their pram. Going into a shop for a couple of things? Pram outside.
My mother actually did this with me, doing housework whilst I'd be sleeping outside.
난 영국인인데 우리 할머니가 말해주길 사람들이 아기를 유모차에 태우고 밖에 두는 건 아주 흔한일이였다고 했어요. 그러는 동안 집안일을 하고 아기들은 신선한 공기를 마시라고요. 유모차에 두고 슈퍼 다녀오고 다 했다고. 우리어머니도 나 어렸을때 그렇게 했었대요. 집안일 하는 동안 난 유모차타고 밖에 있고요.

In Paris, I was offered a seat on the metro when there was none every single time.( I'm a senior). Very seldom happens here.
난 노인에 가까운데요, 프랑스 파리에 있을때 지하철에 빈자리를 양보받았어요. 미국에선 보기 힘든 일이죠.

A lot of European cultures eat dinner so late at night. I can't image eating my dinner at 8 or 9 at night.
많은 유럽인들 문화가 매우 늦은 저녁시간에 밥을 먹죠. 난 저녁 8시나 9시에 밥 먹는 걸 상상할 수가 없어요.
