This is a non-story, but SK is making it worse saying the reporting is damaging the alliance. No, getting caught is damaging the alliance.

이게 뉴스에 나올만한 거는 아니지만 한국은 방송이 연대에 해를 끼치고 있다고 말하면서 상황을 더욱 악화시키고 있네요. 그게 아니고, 비속어를 걸린 것이 연대에 해를 끼친거죠.

It's not going to damage the alliance regardless. Yoon knows this, the opposition in SK knows this-- they are trying to score political points with, and battling for the public perception of the SK public at this point.

The US isn't going to abandon a beneficial strategic partnership over our lawmakers being called idiots, because while they all play idiots on TV, most of them actually aren't that stupid.

그럼에도 불구하고 양국간의 연대에 영향을 끼치진 않을겁니다. 윤씨는 이걸 알고 있고 한국의 야당도 알고 있어요. 그저 그들은 이 이슈를 가지고 대중의 상식과 더불어 정치게임을 하고 있는 거죠. 

미국도 국회의원들이 바보라고 불릴지라도 양국의 전략적인 동맹을 포기할 일도 없어요. 티비에선 모두 바보같이 행동해도 사실 모두 그렇게 멍청하진 않거든요.
