(해외반응) 왜 꼭 달러써야해?  브라질 '탈달러' 연대 

14일 중국과 브라질이 정상회담을 통해 교역, 금융, 기후변화, 5세대 이동통신 등 포괄적 분야에서 협력수준을 끌어올리자 합의했습니다. 루이스 룰라 브라질 대통령은 특히 '탈달러' 의지를 내보이며 위안화 중국 경제권에 더 가까이 하겠다는 의지를 보여주었습니다. 시진핑 주석은 이날 회담에서 "꽃피는 봄날 베이징에서 옛 친구를 다시 만나니 친근하다. (룰라) 대통령은 중국 인민의 오랜 친구"라고 환영했다고하네요. 이어 "양국은 각각 동·서반구에서 각각 가장 큰 개발도상국이자 주요 신흥시장 국가"라며 "전략적 전면 동반자 관계로서 광범위한 이익을 공유하고 있다"고 밝혔습니다. 

이날 룰라 대통령은 중국 최대 통신장비 업체인 화웨이 상하이 연구개발센터도 방문했다고 합니다. 미국의 초강경 제대 대상인 중국기업과의 친근함은 미국에 짜증을 불러일으킬 만도 하겠습니다. 룰라 대통령의 행보를 지켜본 블룸버그 통신은 미국을 짜증나게 할 것이라며 기사를 내기도했습니다.

I'm Brazilian... Let me tell what happened. Argentina is our neighbor and we pay attention to what happens there. In the 80s Argentina used to be the poster-boy for the IMF. We were told that if we followed what Argentina was doing, everything will be great.

The idea of BRICS and The New Development Bank are good. It may still take some time to iron out many issues, the most glaring being  : 

How will the exchange rate be calculated between countries  ? Based on gold reserves or perhaps USD reserves of Central Banks ?
