우리나라 걸그룹 뉴진스가 새로운 기록을 세웠습니다. 9일 소속사 어도어에 따르면 뉴진스는 K팝 가수 중 최단기간에 스포티파이 합산 누적 스트리밍10억회를 달성해 영국 기네스 월드 레코드에 올랐습니다. 

뉴진스는 지난 3월8일 스포티파이에서 ‘어텐션’, ‘하이프 보이’, ‘쿠키’, ‘허트’, ‘오엠지’, ‘디토’ 등 여섯 곡으로 219일 만에 10억 스트리밍을 달성했다. 솔로, 그룹, 남녀를 통틀어 K팝 가수가 세운 기록 중 가장 빠르다고합니다. 앞선 기록은 그룹 방탄소년단 정국이었습니다. 그는 ‘스테이 얼라이브’, ‘레프트 앤드 라이트’, ‘드리머스’ 3개 트랙으로 409일 만에 10억 스트리밍을 달성했습니다.

뉴진스는 현재(7일 기준) 스포티파이에서만 14억 스트리밍을 달성했습니다. ‘오엠지’·‘디토’·‘하이프 보이’가 3억회, ‘어텐션’이 2억회, ‘쿠키’가 1억회입니다.

뉴진스 대단하네요! 한국그룹들이 잘 나가서 자랑스럽습니다.

That's just a natural progression for Kpop. Back in the day Kpop was hardly streamed on Spotify. Then BTS, Blackpink, TWICE and Red Velvet changed all that. New groups benefit from that now.

이런 게 요즘 K팝의 그저 자연스러운 흐름처럼 되었어요. 예전에는 케이팝 곡들을 스포티파이에서 듣기 힘들었는데 이제는 BTS, 블랙핑크, 트와이스 레드벨벳 등의 곡으로 대체되었어요. 모든 한국 그룹들이 이제 그 덕을 보네요.
