(이탈리아) 욕조에서 폰 사용하다 감전사한 16세 소녀

몇일 전 이탈리아에서 매우 안타깝고도 조금 당황스런 사망사고가 있었습니다. 

16세 소녀가 자신의 휴대폰으로 친구와 통화하던 중 휴대폰을 욕조에 빠드렸는데 감전사되고 만 것입니다. 마리아 안토니에타 쿠티요(Maria Antonietta Cutillo)라고 하는 이 16세 소녀는 휴대폰을 충전하며 동시에 친구와 통화중이였는데 실수로 욕조에 빠뜨리고 만 것입니다. 더욱 안타까운 것은 당시 부모님이 집을 비웠고 혼자 있어 끝내 사망하는 비극을 막을 수가 없었다네요.

This is too tragic but could’ve been avoided. May she rest in peace ????. Chargers don’t belong in bathrooms. This is something parents need to talk about with their kids if they haven’t, because you just never know. This isn’t the first time I’ve read about a teen dying the same way. ????

너무 비극적이지만 피할 수도 없었겠네요. 고인의 명복을 빕니다. 충전기는 욕실에 두면 안되죠. 이건 부모가 아이들에게 미리 말해줬어야하는거에요. 무슨 일이 일어날 지 모르잖아요. 이런 사고를 처음 본 게 아니에요.

There's a reason normal logic people avoid electricity in the bathroom area. BUT people need for hairdryer, shave etc make us put power supply in the bathroom. Then we forgot to educate our offspring about the danger of electricity in the bathroom. And the kid "only" thinking about spending spare time by using her phone in the bath tub ???? This young generation who just cant do nothing without their phone

사람들이 욕실에서 전기를 피하려고하는 논리적인 이유가 있지만 헤어드라이어나 면도기 등 전기가 필요하기도 하죠. 그럼 욕조에서 전기사용의 위험에 대해 아이들에게 교육시켜야죠. 아이들은 욕조에서 폰 사용하여 시간을 보낼 생각만 하니까요. 폰없으면 아무것도 할 수 없는 젊은이들 걱정이에요.

The phone didn't kill her. The plug from the wall to the phone killed her. This is from not thinking, unfortunately.

전화기가 소녀를 죽게한 게 아니라 전화기에 붙어있던 플러그가 죽게한거에요. 불행히도 생각못할 어떤 건 아니였던 것 같네요.
