영국박물관 '한국음력설'이라고 표기했다가 중국 네티즌 집단공격에 결국 삭제 

영국박물관이 음력설을 맞아 '한국 음력 설'이라는 표현을 썼다가 중국 네티즌들의 집단 공격에 몸살을 앓다 결국 해당 트윗을 삭제했습니다. 현지시간 20일 저녁 '설맞이'라는 제목으로 한국의 전통공연 등 행사를 진행한 영국박물관은 트위터 등 홍보글에 '한국 음력설'이라는 표현을 썼습니다. 중국은 'Chinese New Year'은 당연시 여기면서 'Korean New Year'에는 대단한 분노를 표출하네요.. 늘 세계의 중심이고 중국이 제일이라 생각하는 대부분의 중국인들, 해당 게시글이 삭제된 이후에도 트위터상에서 분노를 거두질 않네요.

Koreans call it 구정 or 음력설 which means Lunar New Year :l

한국은 구정이나 음력설로 표기하죠 그 말은 음력 새해란 뜻이네요.

예전 기록에서도 여러번 "중국에서 유래"라고 되어 있는데 왜 한국인들은 자기들만의 축제라고 말하는 지 모르겠어요.

Lunar New Year is more appropriate. Korean is not the only country celebrating New Year that day.

음력 새해가 더 적당하죠. 한국만 그 날에 설을 보내는 게 아니니까요.

It's the Korean Lunar New Year,when the Koreans celebrate it, it's the Chinese Lunar New Year when the Chinese celebrate it, it's 2 distinctive festivals celebrated with different traditions and cultures, Lunar new year does not belong to anybody, they just used the same calendar

한국인들이 기념할땐 한국설이겠고 중국인들이 기념할땐 중국설이겠죠. 서로 다른 전통과 문화로 각 설날을 보내니까요. 음력설은 누구에게도 속하지 않은 그냥 같은 달력날짜를 사용할뿐이죠.

Some Chinese nationalists want to make Lunar New Year exclusive for Chinese culture only. They believe that China owns the Lunar New year.

you are pretending knowing Chinese. Chinese new year is based on Chinese calendar which then passed to Korea. it’s not coincidence that we celebrate new year on the same day, but common culture. As a Chinese, i can understand Korean feel uncomfortable saying Chinese new year, but also feel it’s cultural appropriation by saying Korean new year. it’s like after celebrating Christmas for many years and then they decide to call it Korea Christmas and don’t admit it’s from the west. BTW, Korean were proud of inheriting Chinese culture 100 years ago, it’s nationalism makes them want everything korean

(윗댓글에) 중국문화를 아는 척 하고 있네요. 중국설은 중국 달력에 근거하고 있어요. 그게 한국으로 전파된 것이고요. 그래서 같은 날 설을 보내는 것이 우연이 아니고 공통된 문화가 된 것이에요. 중국인으로서 한국인이 한국설이라고 말하며 문화유용(주류 문화권에서 비주류 문화권의 언어나 예술적 표현, 관습 등을 이해할 때 특정 인종만 특정 문화를 해야 한다고 여기는 인종차별적 개념)을 느끼는 것은 이해해요.  이건 마치 많은 시간동안 크리스마스를 즐기면 '한국 크리스마스'라고 부르기로 하며 원래 서구에서 온 것이라고 인정하지 않는 것과 마찬가지죠. 어쨌거나 한국인들은 100년전에 중국문화를 받아온 것을 자랑스러워해요. 국수주의가 모든 걸 한국것이라고 생각하게 만들었죠.

As a Brit and a Christian.... How is this an insult? Do they believe Christmas is an exclusively British holiday?

Plus Koreans are some of the nicest people I have ever met here, the fact that many Koreans are fellow Christians and celebrate Christmas like we do is the opposite of an insult, it's someone else celebrating a holiday with you.

영국인이고 기독교인인데 왜 저게 모욕인가요?  중국인들은 크리스마스가 영국에서만 즐겨야한다고 생각하나요? 게다가 한국인들은 내가 여기서 만난 사람들중 최고였어요. 많은 한국인들이 기독교인들이고 크리스마스를 함께 기념해요. 그저 함께 기념하고 즐기는 사람들이라고요.
