(네덜란드) 새해맞이 북극곰 수영 축제 

매년 1월 1일은 네덜란드에서 이색적인 새해맞이 행사 '북극곰 수영' 축제를 합니다. 

얼음장 같은 겨울 바다에 단체로 뛰어들며 새해 첫날에 특별한 도전을 해보자는 취지입니다. 특히 네덜란드 최대 해변 휴양지 스헤베닝엔에서 열리는 북극곰 축제가 가장 유명한데요 이번에도 남녀노소 만명이 넘는 참가자가 몰렸다고 합니다.

It's a longtime family & friend  tradition in my country. Going to Scheveningen for the New Year's dive. Afterwards hot chocolate and a cup of soup.  Lot of fun.

우리나라 네덜란드에서 이 축제는 친구와 가족끼리 하는 전통이에요.  스헤베닝엔 바다에 새해에 들어가는거죠. 그런 다음에 핫초콜릿과 수프를 먹어요. 정말 재밌어요.

I also managed to film the New Year's Day swimmers in the North Sea, at Whitley Bay in the UK (near Newcastle) .. the water was f f f freezing
