스페인을 마지막 승부로 생각하는 독일 

일본과의 첫 경기 패배로 크게 불리하게 시작한 독일은 2차전 스페인과의 경기에서 진다면 탈락이기에 무조건 이겨야 하는 경기를 해야 합니다. 비기더라도 16강 진출을 장담할 수 없는 상황이거든요. 

한편 동성애를 법으로 금지한 카타르에서 독일 선수들은 일본과의 경기에 앞서 항의하는 표시로 입을 막고 단체퍼포먼스를 했었습니다. 관련하여 이슬람권 국가들은 이를 비난하는 댓글도 많습니다.
