러시아가 출산을 장려하기 위해 아이를 10명 넘게 낳은 여성에게 '모성 영웅' 훈장을 수여한다고 합니다. 

몇일 전 15일이죠. 구소련 시절 '모성영웅' 명예훈장을 되살리는 법령에 서명했다고 보도되었네요. 

훈장 및 100만 루블 (약 2170만원)을 함께 수여한다고 합니다. 다만 10번째 자녀 출생 시 즉시 수훈하는 것이 아니라, 10번째 자녀가 1세를 넘기고 다른 9명의 자녀가 모두 살아 있을 때만 받을 수 있다고 하네요. 

10명이나 낳았는데 2170만원... 훌,,,훌륭하네요  

푸틴보다 31살 어린, 18살에 푸틴과 만났던 연인 카바예바는 언론계에서 일한 경험도 없는데 2014년 러시아 언론기업(내셔널 미디어 그룹) 회장으로 임명되어 연봉을 115억원이나 받는데 말이죠. 

한편 러시아 국민 평균연봉은 739만원 정도라고 하네요.

7.5 years minimum, assuming all pregnancies go smoothly and you do it literally back to back. Factoring in inflation, the risk of Putin withdrawing on his promise etc, this sounds like a very shit deal.

그 모든 임신기간이 문제 없이 연이어 진행된다 하더라도 최소한 7.5년은 필요하네요. 물가상승을 고려했을때 푸틴이 자기가 한 약속을 철회할 위험 등. 이건 정말 똥같이 들립니다.

Who even cares about the risk of the money not being paid out; even in Russia $16k won't cover the cost of raising one child to 16 - 18 years old, let along 10.

누가 제대로 지불되지도 않는 돈에 대해 신경이나 쓴다고. 

러시아에서 저 돈이면 16~18세 될까지 한 아이 키우는 돈도 커버안된다.

Because Japan's birthrate problem isn't practical (i.e. space, money etc), but cultural. Primarily, at least. There are always many factors.

일본의 저출산율은 공간이나 돈문제와 같은 현실적인 문제가 아니고 문화적인 문제입니다.

I would assume it’s more about work force and productivity than war. Its unlikely Russia will get wiped off the map, but if they lose much of their work force than they will go through other hardships like less innovation, less workers, less collected tax, etc. Probably a lot of the same results of an aging society.

전쟁보다 노동력과 생산성에 관한 문제로 생각됩니다. 지도상에서 러시아가 없어질 일은 없을 테지만 러시아가 노동력을 많이 잃게 되면 혁신하는데도 고난이 따르고 노동력은 부족하고 세금도 적게 걷힐 테지요. 

아마도 노령화 사회 결과로 많은 문제가 생기는 것과 비슷합니다.

Any western man who spends a month in Moscow will be running for Finland after 6 days. Russia isn’t like any place I’ve ever been. I would rather live in New Delhi than Moscow. Saint Petersburg is slightly better than Moscow and a lot closer to Finland.

모스크바에서 한달을 지낸 어떤 서방국가 남자라면 예를들어 핀란드에서 6일은 버틸겁니다. 

러시아는 내가 이제까지 본 국가와 다릅니다. 모스크바보단 인도 뉴델리에서 살겠어요. 

세인트피터버그는 모스크바보다는 조금 낫고 핀란드랑 비슷해요.

그래서 낳은 저 아기들이 적어도 14~16세 될때까지 군인이 될 수 없다는 걸 생각해보면 이게 어떻게 푸틴을 도울 지 모르겠다.

$16k is also nothing. Imagine being pregnant for almost a full decade to get that. Plus, obviously needing to raise 10 kids.

저 돈은 정말 아무것도 아니에요. 거의 10년 이상을 임신기간에만 쓴다고 생각해봐요. 게다가 10명을 키우는데 필요한 건 어마어마하죠.
