As a Pole, I am very glad that this deal happened. It is a great opportunity for South Korea to expand it's arms industry onto Europe and get more money to keep North Korea, China and Russia at bay. Meanwhile us, Poles, get to produce some good equipment and keep eastern flank of NATO secure and increase the security of our neighbors against orcish horde.

Hopefully this is a basis for building good, long lasting relations with South Korea that will allow for more trade of various goods or technology exchange. 

I see this as a win/win, especially that South Korea has similar history to that of Poland and i think both our countries just want to live in peace.

폴란드사람으로서 이번 계약이 성사되어 아주 기쁩니다. 한국에게도 자국의 무기 산업을 유럽으로 확장시킬 수 있어 좋은 기회라고 생각합니다. 또한 북한, 러시아 그리고 중국을 궁지에 몰 수도 있어 좋은 거지요. 

한편 우리 폴란드는 좋은 장비를 생산하고 나토의 동쪽면을 안전하게 유지하고 반대 무리들에 대항하여 우리 이웃국가들의 안전을 증대시킬 수 있습니다. 

이번 계약으로 한국과의 건강하고 오래가는 관계를 만들게 되는 기초가 되길 바랍니다. 

그렇게 하여 다른 다양한 상품과 기술교환을 더 할 수도 있을 것입니다. 

이건 윈윈 으로 보이고 특히 한국은 폴란드와 비슷한 역사를 가지고 있어 양국이 평화롭게 살 수 있게 되길 바랍니다.

Well done South Korea, this is a great help for Poland and South Korea arms are very good, western nato country’s will need their own arms industry’s to rebuild and  reequip their own army’s so thank you South Korea

In December 2021 Australia signed a 1 billion dollar deal with Hanwha Defense Australia which will manufacture 30 self-propelled howitzers and 15 armoured ammunition resupply vehicles. Dwarfed by the Polish deal though!

2021년 12월에 호주는 한국회사 한화와 1억불 계약에 서명했어요. 

그건 30개의 자주포와 15개의 탄약운반장갑차에 대한 것이였어요. 

오히려 이번 폴란드와의 계약이 작아보이죠.

South Korea isn't afraid of Putin's wrath because, unlike many other developed countries, South Korea is not very dependent on trade with Russia.  Although they will be slightly affected, but unlike places like Japan and India, South Korea isn't very dependent on Russian energy and/or raw materials.

It makes sense - every country that has sent weapons to Ukraine is looking to replace those weapons with modern  ones. Russia has made its aggressive inclinations clear, and everyone wants to have enough weapons to deter aggression, if possible, or if deterrence fails, to fight it.

So I'm sure every NATO arms manufacturer has its current production capacity fully booked, and is working to add capacity. Therefore,  some of the business has to go outside NATO.

말이 되네요. 우크라이나로 무기를 보낸 모든 나라들은 그 무기들을 신식무기로 교체하고 싶어해요. 

러시아는 공격적인 의도를 명확하게 했고 모두들 공격을 단념시키게 하기위해 충분한 무기를 갖고 싶어합니다. 

가능하다면 혹은 단념시키는 일이 실패한다면 싸워야겠죠. 

모든 나토에 속한 무기를 제조사들은 현재 자신들의 모든 생산여력이 풀로 차 버렸고 그 여력을 늘리려고 하고 있어요. 그러니 몇몇 비즈니스는 나토 밖에서 이루어지겠죠.
