(영국) 아이 없으면 세금 더 내야 한다고?

영국은 출산율이 낮은 국가입니다. 

작가 폴 몰랜드는 "마이너스 육아수당"이라는 아이를 갖지 않은 커플에게 부과하는 세금정책을 제안했다는데요. 

아이를 원하지 않는 사람혹은 자연적으로 가질 수 없는 사람으로써 그에게 이렇게 말하고 싶다네요. 

"우린 이미 벅차, 꺼져줘" 

그래도 영국가고 싶은 사람?

I would genuinely love to have children, but I can't afford them. So of course, taxing me more is going to help. 

난 정말 아이를 갖고 싶지만 능력이 안돼요. 그니까 물론 나에게 세금을 더 부과하는 건 참 도움이 되겠네요;;;

Sod bringing children into this crazy world, On a personal moral and ethical level I just can't do it.

난 36세 아이없는 남자이고 최근에 불임되게 하는 수술도 받았따. 

아이들을 이 미친세상에 살아가게 한다는 건 개인적인 도덕으로도 윤리적인 수준으로도 도저히 할 수 없는 짓이다.

Correct. Married couples also have tax breaks just for being married. 

The single and childless people are already subsidising those with children.

(윗댓글에)  맞아요. 결혼한 부부들도 결혼했다는 이유만으로 세금감면 혜택을 맏고 있어요. 

싱글과 아이없는 사람들은 이미 아이있는 사람들에게 보조해주고 있어요.

The focus should be on making it more affordable to have children in the first place, and to give people more time to spend with their children after they are born.

초점은 우선 아이를 가지는 것이 더 편하게끔 해준다는 것입니다. 

그리고 사람들에게 아이들이 태어나면 자녀와 더 많은 시간을 보낼 수 있게 해준다는 거죠.

The Soviet Union once had a 'Child Tax' policy enacted on young Soviet Men. So if i'm not mistaken, would the Tories actually suggest to implement a Communist Government Policy?? Genuinely hilarious to think that the Tories could consider this.

그럼 내가 오해하지 않았다면 보수당 Torires가 공산주의 정책을 따라 하는 겁니까?

If you want us to have kids maybe make life survivable lol. Currently bringing a kid into this world feels unbelievably cruel.

더 많은 아이를 낳게 하려면 인생을 살아남을 수 있도록 해줘야지..

아이키우는 거 정말 불가능해졌다. 렌트비도 너무 비싸고 혜택은 적고 두 아이를 유치원에서부터 키워

I remember when I was growing up (1960s) when one parent earned enough to run a home, buy a car, have holidays and feed and clothe 3 children along with a parent who stayed at home.

내가 자랄때 (1960년대) 한 부모가 집과 차를 사고 휴가를 즐기고 3명의 아이들에게 옷을 충분히 입힐 만큼 돈을 벌었습니다. 게다가 부모중 한명은 집에 있었죠.
