대한민국 세르지우 코치가 "주심에게 기회 박탈 당했다. 벤투 퇴장 부당해"라고 목소리를 높였습니다. 벤투대신 기자회견 나선 세르지우 코치는 앤서니 테일러 주심의 막판 코너킥 기회를 무시한 주심의 종료휘슬 결정에 대해 강력하게 비난했습니다.
로이터 통신에도 세르지우 코치의 인터뷰 내용이 그대로 보도되었습니다.

It's only unfair if it's an African nation which has beaten them. The same happened to Belgium fans. They were protesting in Brussels because they lost to Morocco.

딱히 부당했다고 할 순 없어요. 물론 축구가 불공평할때도 있고 난 축구를 거의 30년동안 진지하게 지켜봐왔는데 그런 걸 보며 열정을 잃기도해요. 하지만 이게 축구의 본성입니다.

The best game so far, got me sitting on edge. Both teams played their best. In the first half Ghana played well. In the second half Korea dominated the game
이제까지 최고의 축구경기였어요. 긴장하면서 앉아있었다니까요. 두 팀다 최선을 다했어요. 전반전엔 가나가 잘했는데 후반전에선 한국이 경기를 주도했어요.

Sucks big time. I think Korea didn't deserve to lose like that, so many chances but unable to finish them. Ghana had way fewer chances but able to finish them better than Korea
진짜 아쉽네요. 한국은 사실 이런 식으로 질 건 아니였어요. 수많은 기회가 있었지만 마무리를 잘 못하긴 했어요. 가나는 기회는 더 적었지만 그들은 한국보다 마무리를 더 잘했어요.
